What Subjects Are on the GED?

The General Educational Development test (GED) will be converted in format from paper and a completely computerized format the month of January in 2014.
"Students must be proficient at typing and use drag and drop functions with a mouse for the test." ACC Chief Executive Officer of Adult Education David Borden said.

"A majority of GED students have difficulty working with computers, and they may not have computers on their own at home."
The new rules can make students nervous as a part of tests they completed are to be withdrawn on the 31st day of December.
The test comprises five parts - writing math, reading mathematics sciences writing, as well as social science. Students who fail to finish all five components before the deadline of December must complete the whole test.
Since ACC will offer the test on appointment at the testing centers in Highland Business Center, the Highland Business Center and the Round Rock Campus and Highland Business Center, Borden said students must plan appointments far ahead of time to avoid waiting.

ACC adults education pupils Jeremy Jackson and Medaly Flores are working to pass the exam this year.
Jackson who is planning to pursue the degree of computer scientist after Jackson is competent enough to pass his GED test. Jackson says he's not too worried about the test because the adult program has proven helpful in obtaining study materials and also making forms.
Flores hopes to take the test by the final day of March. She is thinking about a profession to work in the medical fields.
She's nervous about the math section of the test, but she's confident in the direction the ACC has given her. ACC. ACC.
Katie Sanders, a student in the paramedics' program at ACC received her GED certificate this year. She recommends that students take the test and get it passed prior to close this year.
"Just keep going because once you've gotten these scores, it's worthwhile," she said. "Having the GED will open up a lot of opportunities that are open to you."
